About Us

Anandmilan is a Community Voluntary Group which was formed on 14 May 2011.

Our Motto

Happy to meet, Sorry to part, & Happy to meet again

The group is administered and managed by a Management Committee consisting of:-

  • Treasurer --- Mr Harivadan Patel

Objectives of the committee:

  • To provide facilities for recreation, activities and guidance for the group
  • To maintain their physical, mental & social well-being, with the object of improving their living conditions
  • To organise events such as fun evenings, special food festivals with different themes including regions
  • Build stronger community which will make genuine difference to the quality of life in the community
  • Cultural activities, socialise and share common problems
  • To celebrate appropriate Diwali, Valentine’s Day, & such festivities


Currently there are 260 households members of Anandmilan, which accounts for approximately 780 individuals. Currently there is no membership fee and open to all who are interested in Anandmilan’s cause. Please click here for more information on how to become a member.

Annual Membership Fee

There is no Annual Membership fee payable for the time being but certain Terms and conditions apply

Donations Welcome

If you would like to sponsor one of our Navratri Garba evenings (or any event) please contact any committee member or the Anandmilan secretary. General donations are also most welcome. The Management Committee believes that with the support of the members and donations, there should be no need for an entry fee for Navratri Festivities.
